“There is nothing like serving God’s spiritual food to people who can appreciate the ingredients,” says Pastor Michael Steve Brown of True Vision Church. “I believe a good theological footing is a motivator for missions and also provides a greater boldness for evangelism.”
As the lead pastor of True Vision for the past 23 years, Pastor Brown has seen the church grow in spiritual maturity over the years. “My hopes for True Vision and our surrounding community is a greater connection and partnership,” he shares. “I want our community to see our church as a conduit for the Kingdom of God, for spiritual, emotional, mental, economic and educational help and health.”
To do this, True Vision serves the community through divorce care, grief share, premarital counseling, a food pantry, Financial Peace University, and children and youth studies. They hope to teach people to love God, themselves, their neighbors and to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. The church is also excited to provide access to theological classes at their campus.
“Partnering with Stark College and Seminary was a no brainer,” says Pastor Brown. “To have an established, accredited, educational institution such as Stark College on our campus is an honor and a credit to our church. Being able to help provide our congregants and surrounding community with accessibility to a quality, affordable, Christian education fits within the mission and vision of True Vision Church.”
