George Evans

LECTURER IN BIBLICAL STUDIES

Dr. George C. Evans Jr. serves as a Lecturer in Biblical Studies, bringing a broad background in higher education and ministry. He has taught in academic settings and served in a variety of pastoral leadership roles over the years, including founding and senior leadership positions.

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Evans recently relocated to Corpus Christi after years of ministry service in the Midwest. His academic training includes undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in leadership and theology.

Dr. Evans is passionate about equipping students for their God-given purpose and guiding them toward transformative engagement with Scripture and the person of Jesus Christ. He is married to Sandra, and together they have two children—Atia and George III—and two grandchildren, Noah and McKenzie.
