FINANCIAL AID
All students are encouraged to fill out the SCS Financial Aid Application.
Stark College and Seminary awards institutional financial aid without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, religion, disability, age, status as a veteran or disabled veteran, ministry type, or any other protected status. All students are eligible for consideration for institutional aid provided they submit the required financial aid application by the published deadline.
When applicable, students may be matched with scholarships that align with donor-designated criteria. However, no student is excluded from consideration for institutional financial aid, and all eligible applicants are reviewed fairly and equitably.

PBGCT MINISTERIAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Students that are called to vocational ministry and are serving at a Baptist church may be eligible for Ministerial Financial Assistance (MFA) from the Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT). Freshman and sophomore students qualifying for MFA will receive $50 per semester hour. Qualifying junior and senior students will receive an additional $25 per semester hour. Qualifying MA in Ministry students will receive $100 per semester hour and MDiv students receive $150 per semester hour.
To apply, complete the form below. This application requires two separate submissions through the same form link:
- Student Submission: The student must open the form and complete the Student Portion.
- Church Submission: The student must then share the same form link with their pastor (or another church leader if the student serves as the pastor), who must open the link separately and complete the Church Portion.
Both the Student Portion and the Church Portion must be submitted for the application to be considered complete.
Annual renewal of MFA will require certification by a cooperating Baptist General Convention of Texas church. Please visit texasbaptists.org for a list of cooperating churches.
